Bike to Work Month

Yep, I started riding again this month. I am riding every day 10 miles from the Kent Park and Ride to the Renton factory. I am thinking of riding from all the way from home starting in June. I am at about 170 miles for the month already which means I should be able to meet my goal of 300.

But the real stats everyone is waiting for is the bunny count.

for an average of 21.75 bunnies per day

The record for this year is 31 on May 2nd. Last year I rode from home one day and saw over 50 which is the all time Bunny record.

Mother's Day weekend

It was a long weekend for me because I had Friday off. The boys also had Friday off school so Jess had a bunch of people over on Thursday. Friday, Joe and I went golfing in the morning and I did errands in the afternoon. Meg and I went to Jack's tavern to watch the Mariners win on Friday night. Saturday, we all volunteered at Northwest Harvest with the Scouts. The boys spent the night at friends houses while Meg and I took her Mom out to dinner and then went out for drinks with some of her old high school friends. On Mothers day, we checked out the Fremont outdoor market in the morning and then met my the whole family for Dim Sum and then a nice walk at the Kubota gardens in Rainier Beach. Next weekend, Meg is going to Portland with Michelle Kono so I think the boys and I will head to the beach house.
