The carpet in our spare bedroom was getting dirty beyond hope and we need a place to age and store our wine. So we decided to replace our carpet with a pergo floor that can handle a wine spill a little easier than carpet. We bought also bought an air conditioner for the room this week so we can continue to age our wine all summer. We pulled the carpet out and then realized that we also should paint before we put the new floor in. Our little project turned into a whole weekend but now it is almost finished. We just need some wine racks to store all our bottles. Maybe next weekend.

Mariners Game
Tuesday at work I realized we didn't have any thing going on at night so I bought tickets to the Mariners Game online. The boys and I went downtown right after school got out and we spent some time wandering around Pioneer Square. We then met Meg at Elysian Fields for dinner. We saw the Mariners win from our cheap seats in the left field bleachers- right next to the Garlic Fries. Joe is now very interested in baseball.

Mailbox peak and visit from Henry and Max
On Friday I attempted to climb Mailbox peak. I didn't quite make it because of too much ice around 3900 feet. Very frustrating to hike straight up over 3000 feet and not see any views.
Henry and Max came for a weekend visit on Friday night. We took them to the Pinewood Derby on Saturday morning which Henry loved. Joe came in 2nd place in his den and Henry came in first in his race. In the afternoon we went to the Fed Way community center pool. The little boys love it there.
Next week we have conferences for Joe on Monday and Tuesday and Jess on Thursday and Friday. Then, the next week they have Spring break and the boys are going to Orcas Island with Nana and Gerrit.
